About the Department
The City of Carnation have contracted with the King County Sheriff’s Office for police services in 2013. Carnation’s residents expressed their desire for a police force that is a community-oriented, locally directed, and participatory. Carnation police officers are committed to being out-of-the-car and out-of-the-box crime fighters, who talk daily with residents and business owners, involve volunteer groups, and integrate community problem solving wherever possible.
