Success Story #1
"Elderly female living with adult daughter who was not taking good care of her and verbal abusive with her. Planned to move to another state the next day but did not have the funds to stay in a hotel for the night while her family worked on getting her travel tickets and affairs in order. [BlueBridge funds used to provide her with a safe place to stay for the night]."
Success Story #2

Success Story #3
"Female victim was carjacked at gun point after attempting to provide a ride to two unknown young men out of the kindness of her heart. When she got to the location they wished to be dropped off they put a gun to her head and forced her out of the vehicle before leaving in her vehicle. The vehicle belonged to her boyfriend and inside the vehicle was her phone and purse. When officers arrived she was hysterical and obviously a pregnant young adult. I contacted her boyfriend who lived in Bellevue who advised none of his friends were answering their phone to borrow a vehicle to pick her up. He also informed me he did not have the funds to purchase her an Uber home. The female still obviously upset told her boyfriend on the phone she may have to find a bus to get north. Seeing the female distraught, pregnant, and without a purse or phone I elected it would be better to assist her with a ride home. Unfortunately, the call was at the end of our shift, we were understaffed, and Bellevue was far from Kent. I elected to purchase the female an Uber back to her apartment. Officers were able to help calm her with humor and once I informed her I would help her get home with an Uber the look of relief overtook her face. Her boyfriend thanked me as well. The female thanked all the officers on scene and said how thankful she was to have us assisting her in her time of need. "
