Partner Agency Introduction: Chelan County Sheriff’s Office

You may know Chelan County for the legendary Lake Chelan, a massive fjord-like lake so deep that its bottom actually rests nearly 400 feet below sea level. It’s also a place where you can visit the “Apple Capital of the World” and a world-famous Bavarian village all in one afternoon!

The Chelan County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO), led by Sheriff Mike Morrison, is a multi-faceted law enforcement agency dedicated to ensuring the safety and security of nearly 80,000 residents across 2,931 square miles. Established in 1900, the office operates under the motto “Of the People. For the People” and is guided by a mission to be a steadfast ally to all citizens while remaining an adversary to those who would threaten their safety. The CCSO manages a wide array of specialized units beyond standard patrol, including an award-winning Marine Program, a Behavioral Health Unit providing 20+ hours of daily coverage, and dedicated Search and Rescue teams. Through an unwavering commitment to its core values of Integrity, Teamwork, and Excellence, Sheriff Morrison’s administration focuses on proactive community engagement and robust partnerships to protect the county’s unique landscapes.

A vital component of this service-oriented approach is their BlueBridge program, managed by Agency Program Director Sergeant Adam Musgrove. This initiative is a natural fit for the CCSO, as it directly realizes their mission to be a “steadfast ally” by providing deputies with the tools to offer immediate, compassionate assistance to those in crisis. Sergeant Musgrove deserves immense credit for his exceptional leadership in running this program; his dedication ensures that the agency’s vision of a community where safety and security are ensured for all through an “unwavering commitment to service” is met with action. A recent recipient of a Lifesaving Award, Sergeant Musgrove brings that same level of excellence and specialized experience to their BlueBridge program, helping deputies bridge the gap between emergency contact and longer-term support.

We’re so excited to have the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office on board!
